DESCRIPTION:The Outstanding Student Citizen of the Year Awards are held annually to celebrate select students from the San Lorenzo and Castro Valley districts that stand out amongst the rest. \n\nWith help from local district staff and faculty\, each student is chosen with specific criteria in mind such as (but not limited to):\n\n-Participating in youth organizations (i.e. Scouts\, 4-H\, Little League\, etc)\n\n-Scholastic achievements\n\n- Self-discipline\n\n-Home responsibilities\n\n-Work experience\n\nBy way of local business and community sponsors\, we honor these students with a luncheon and awards ceremony to thank them for being extraordinary members of their schools. \n\nFor more information on sponsorship opportunities please contact the Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nPARTICIPATING SCHOOLS CAN SUBMIT STUDENT CITIZEN NAMES AND BIOS TO ALLIE@CASTROVALLEYCHAMBER.COM  \n\nCLICK HERE!!!
