He was assigned to the Castro Valley area for several years on patrol prior to his promotion. In addition to his current role at the RTIC\, Sergeant Culley teaches several topics at the Police Academy and serves as the lead supervisor for a multi-agency\, proactive street takeover ("sideshow") enforcement team known as the Alameda County Regional Side Show Enforcement Team (RESET).\n\n\n\nSergeant Culley's presentation is designed to help business leaders and community members develop a better understanding of the RTIC\, the Drone First Responder (DFR) program\, and the current technology being successfully utilized by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. The development of an RTIC\, in combination with DFR\, represents the future of policing and provides significant benefits at a time when law enforcement agencies face nationwide staffing challenges.\n\n\n\nAdditional discussion topics will include multi-agency collaboration\, the evolution of technology\, breaking down internal silos\, and the importance of the Sheriff's Office's partnership with local business leaders and community members.
