2023 Lake Chabot Trail Challenge Half Marathon & 5K

The Castro Valley Sports Foundation's mission is to continue on in perpetuity as a fundraising vehicle for community groups and organizations active in supporting and improving sports and athletics in Castro Valley. Sponsorships, donations, and community involvement from fundraisers are key to ensuring that we can continue to support and promote youth sports in our community. Join for the 39th annual Lake Chabot Trail Challenge Half Marathon and 5K. on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The race begins at 8:00 am for the Half Marathon and 8:30 am for the 5K. Please arrive early so that you may find parking, pick up your bibs, use restroom facilities, and be properly prepared to race before the start. Race takes place rain or shine and there are no refunds.
