Description

Everyone Deserves is a social enterprise of FirstPres Hayward that launched in October 2021. We work together to create dignified income for the unhoused community because everyone deserves an opportunity for a better life. FirstPres runs two shelters, a daytime resources center, a food pantry, a safe parking program, and a tiny home community. To support our cause and spread awareness, we are hosting a Makers Market quarterly in 2022. We’re excited and hope you’ll join us at our event that will spotlight local makers, yummy eats, and live music!
We’re looking for local makers, crafters, small brands and artists to participate in our community Makers Market. All participants should make their own work. No resale. No imports. We have partnered with Food Truck Mafia as our exclusive food provider*, J-Boss Bakery as our exclusive baker for 3/19, and Smalltown to provide live music. *No food or beverages are allowed to be sold in vendor booths for the March event.
Marketing
We promote our markets with social media promotions, the FirstPres email newsletter, our local Castro Valley newspaper, and local associations to ensure as many shoppers as we can! We ask our participants to also promote our markets.
