Denise is a 10-year Merit Signature Member and President of the Colored Pencil Society of America. she is a Gold Signature Member of the United Kingdom Coloured Pencil Society.
Her work was in the De Young Open Exhibition and she has won awards in Artists Magazine. She authored 101 Textures in Colored Pencil and has been featured in International Artist Magazine, Colored Pencil Magazine, Ann Kullberg's COLOR magazine, and in several books.
