Petes Hardware 100 Year Celebration Ribbon Cutting

Pete’s Ace Hardware will celebrate a remarkable milestone in 2026... its 100th anniversary as a family-owned business serving the Castro Valley community. 

Pete’s has operated under the same family name since 1926, growing from a neighborhood
hardware store into a trusted community fixture where generations of customers have come for
tools, paint, projects, and friendly advice.

The ribbon cutting will include:
● Remarks from Pete’s Ace Hardware and representatives of the Castro Valley/Eden Area
Chamber of Commerce
● A ceremonial ribbon cutting at noon
● Photo opportunities and light refreshments for guests

As part of the centennial celebration, Pete’s Ace Hardware is inviting customers to share their
favorite stories and memories of the store. Community members are encouraged to email their
memories to peteshardware@peteshardware.com or drop off a letter in-store. Selected
memories will be featured on Pete’s website and social media throughout 2026 as a tribute to
100 years of community support.
