Castro Valley City, Inc is a large and diverse group of people who live and/or work in Castro Valley and who want the best for the future of our community. For the past 2 years, we have studied the feasibility of incorporation, spoken to multiple experts in city government, finance, and development, and consulted with many government officials. We have examined the tax and finance ramifications, observed the new housing, businesses, and amenities occurring in the cities around us, and heard many stories about the difficulties of working with the county bureaucracy.
