Youth Summit - Free Teen Education and Networking Event

Youth Summit 2026 Learn, network and have fun! Calling all 9th-12th graders: Hayward Area Recreation and Park District wants to hear from you! Teens join us at a Youth Summit focused on helping high school students develop essential professional skills as they prepare for future career opportunities. This Youth Summit will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00am-3:30pm. The summit will include: -Two educational sessions centered on career readiness, workplace expectations, and professional skill-building. -One fun, interactive session designed to actively engage students that explore their interests outside of their career. -Great opportunities to network with other young professionals. -Activities to provide feedback on what matters most to them in their communities. -Free lunch and networking opportunities.
