Born and raised in California. Moved from S. Cal to Bay Area before elementary school, growing up in Concord, Oakley, and Antioch. Moved to Pleasanton in 2010. Attended Barnard College, Columbia University. Worked 17 years for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) out of their New York, Chicago, and San Francisco offices. My client focus was Healthcare, working in both hospitals and health insurance companies. In 2018, at the age of 48, I returned to university earn a Masters in Public Administration, studying International and European Governance. I began working in Democratic politics from 2019 - 2021. During this time, my daughter was diagnosed with a rare disease that leads to blindness. To support her and the blind/low vision community, I launched RP Hope and began working for LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco.
