The kids loved learning the history of the White House! They searched for text features as they compared stories about history.
Bible students worked on a project that shows the attributes of God in each of the 4 gospels.
Physics students have been learning about the laws of thermodynamics, in particular the second law which is the base for Entropy- things go from order to disorder. We have discussed how this idea has been used to combat evolution, and will continue to examine both sides.
Analyzing relationships is a key skill for AP Literature students, and they put this into practice in creating correspondence between pairs of characters in the play Othello.

DAR Recipient / National Merit Commended Scholar
Bethany Dominguez is being honored as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good citizen. She also won the DAR essay competition and received a scholarship from DAR!
Malachi Warneke is being honored as a National Merit Scholar Commended student.
Commended Students by the NMSC areg generally, the top 3%-4% of PSAT scorers receive commended student status. Congrats, Malachi!

Our next big Middle School social is a trip to Boomers on the afternoon of Thursday, March 10th! (There is no school the next day.)
The cost is $26. The price includes transportation, mini-golf, laser tag, the climbing wall, bumper boats and – for those at least 4/10” tall – Go-Karts! (Those less than this height may ride with an adult chaperone providing one is available.) Arcade games cost extra. Pick up from the MSHS at 6 pm!
