“Twos”day was 2 cool!
?2/22/22 was a "Twosday" so RCE celebrated in many ways! From tutus to these "two cool" hats!

The kids loved learning the history of the White House! They searched for text features as they compared stories about history.

Bible students worked on a project that shows the attributes of God in each of the 4 gospels.

Physics students have been learning about the laws of thermodynamics, in particular the second law which is the base for Entropy- things go from order to disorder. We have discussed how this idea has been used to combat evolution, and will continue to examine both sides.

Analyzing relationships is a key skill for AP Literature students, and they put this into practice in creating correspondence between pairs of characters in the play Othello.

We had an amazing experience at ACSI Musicale! Students learned different singing technics and sang praises with five other schools making new friends along the way. Here is the combined performance or click here for our concert choir performing!

DAR Recipient / National Merit Commended Scholar
 
 
Bethany Dominguez is being honored as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good citizen. She also won the DAR essay competition and received a scholarship from DAR!
 
Malachi Warneke is being honored as a National Merit Scholar Commended student.
 
Commended Students by the NMSC areg generally, the top 3%-4% of PSAT scorers receive commended student status. Congrats, Malachi!

MS Boomers Social - Last Chance to Sign Up
 
Our next big Middle School social is a trip to Boomers on the afternoon of Thursday, March 10th! (There is no school the next day.)
 
The cost is $26. The price includes transportation, mini-golf, laser tag, the climbing wall, bumper boats and – for those at least 4/10” tall – Go-Karts! (Those less than this height may ride with an adult chaperone providing one is available.) Arcade games cost extra. Pick up from the MSHS at 6 pm!
 
SAT School Day Registration
 
The SAT school day is coming up on April 26. This is for Juniors only. Sign ups run until March 18 and the cost is $55
 
Eagle Dash - Parent Help Needed
The Eagle Dash Day is Thursday, March 10th. We are looking for parent help for two time slots: Serve Breakfast (7:15 am - 8:15 am) and/or help with an obstacle during the race (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm).
