The students wrote paragraphs describing their pets, or a pet they would like to have. They researched how to take care of the pet and the characteristics of the pet. They then drew a pet store that included the habitats and the necessities of all the pets of the members in their group.

Juniors participated in a cross-curricular culminating activity focused on the Roaring 20's and The Great Gatsby. Summer REC - Girls Softball Camp
Inviting all future Lady Eagles wanting to learn, improve their skills, and have fun to join us at REC Softball Camp! Led by Coach Teresa Hendren, girls will learn the fundamentals of softball including basic skills, strategy, and daily competitions. Whether “dusting off the glove” or learning the game for the first time, this camp will be an active and FUN way to learn the game of softball. Current RCS Varsity athletes will assist at the camp as well.
Coach Hendren has coached at both the youth and high school level for over 16 years, including stepping in as head Varsity Softball Coach last year. As an athlete herself, including thirteen years of competitive softball and three years college lacrosse (including DI 1st Team WWLL all-star), she believes the lessons learned “on the field” instill physical and emotional confidence, leadership skills, teamwork, and self-esteem in young girls.
This camp is open to incoming 3rd – 8th grade girls and will be offered Monday-Friday, June 13-17, 9 am to 12 pm at the MSHS campus. Sign up today, space is limited!
